How Live Event Illustration Works

Live guest illustration is both an interactive experience and a personalized keepsake your guests can take home from your celebration.

1. Guests Are Photographed

Throughout the event, guests are invited to have a quick photo taken. This allows everyone to enjoy the celebration without needing to stand or pose while their portrait is being created.

Couples, friends, and individual guests can all be illustrated.

2. I Begin Sketching

Using each guest’s photo as reference, I create a fashion-inspired portrait capturing their outfit, personality, and the overall feel of the occasion.

Each illustration is individually hand-drawn in my signature style using professional artist materials.

3. Guests Enjoy the Experience

One of the most enjoyable parts of live illustration is watching the artwork come to life. Guests are welcome to stop by throughout the event, see the process, and watch other portraits being created.

The illustration station becomes both entertainment and part of the overall event experience.

4. Finished Portraits Are Displayed

As portraits are completed, they are beautifully displayed for guests to find and take home.

Each illustration becomes a one-of-a-kind keepsake created especially for them from your celebration.

5. Additional Portraits Can Be Completed After the Event

For larger celebrations, I continue photographing guests throughout the event even after my onsite drawing capacity has been reached.

Any portraits included in your selected package that cannot be completed during the event can be finished afterward in my studio and delivered following the celebration.

This allows more of your guests to participate without rushing the artwork or compromising the quality of each illustration.

Long after the music ends and the flowers are gone, your guests leave with something created just for them — a personalized piece of art that captures what they wore and how they looked on your special day.
